Congress World Medical Organisation of Suryoye (WMAS)

Dear Colleagues and Friends, we warmly invite you to the 2nd World Conference on Medicine by the World Medical Association of Suryoye (WMAS) in cooperation with the Justus-Liebig University of Giessen at the Universitätsklinikum Giessen, Germany, from 14-16 June 2019. WMAS intends to be an international platform for scientific, professional and social exchange of the Syriacs working in the fields of medicine. The main goal of WMAS is to create an international network in the medical field by and for the Syriac community. We aim to organize annual medical conferences to extend and strengthen our network. Furthermore, we will work on establishing Aramaic (Syriac/Surayt) as a scientific language, create a medical dictionary in Aramaic and provide medical education for our Syriac society and medical help for our sisters and brothers in Syria and Iraq. We are glad to organize the 2nd WMAS conference to pave the way for these important goals.
